A man known for violence was very calm as police entered his home in the middle of the night to arrest him for alleged assault.
UFC fighter Nick Diaz’s arrest was captured on bodycam in May 2018. The police decided to wake up Diaz and his house guests at gunpoint with shouts because a female had alleged that he had earlier assaulted her.
Diaz was cleared of all charges as it turned out that the female was a stalker that thought alleging domestic violence would get her close to Diaz.
At one point in the video, the supervising cop told other cops to turn their cameras off. One didn’t. Then he went on to offer some “instruction”:
“Listen to me real quick,” Martinez said in the footage. “I need you to control your suspects. If they’re talking (expletive), if you need to fricken’ take them to jail. If you need to hobble them, if you need to whoop their (expletive) ass, you whoop their ass. You hear me?
